Journey of Sasha
Sasha is a recognised artist who began her creative journey in the UK in 2021, starting out in abstract art before finding her passion in character design inspired by her love of anime and manga. In 2023 she showcased her work at MCM Comic Con in London, where she was recognised by the Meta creator team. Since then she has been building a community through her channel @colorbysasha, teaching young people the basics of character design in a way that feels genuinely approachable.
Sasha’s Experience in Manga & Anime Character Design
It all started during my uni days, when I began illustrating characters and fan arts just for fun. That slowly turned into original character designs, then quick tutorials that caught the attention of many. My book Design Your Own Manga and Anime Characters is a collection of everything I have learned and taught along the way.
